Moving in

After two weeks of travel and another two weeks of being back in the suburbs, I couldn't be more excited to be back in CHICAGO!

While our official move-in date was July 1st, it's taken me exactly a week to get the place feeling like home–feeling like a place where I can work, relax, and enjoy.

I am sad and do miss my old apartment in Lincoln Park. However, I'm sure I'll find new places, restaurants, and things to do here that I wouldn't have known or done otherwise. In fact, I'm already trying new places.

Getting Work Done

With all that said, I am so excited to start making more and finishing more projects.

I am writing this from a coffee shop just down the street from me, and I can't help but be more excited to finally finish up my Japan Adventure Magazine project, the fairy tale book I'm writing and binding, and other projects that I decide to work on.

In short, with every new change, with every new large change such as a move, come new and unexpected opportunities.

I'm ready for all of them!
